Busses
It is not so long ago that the busses on Corfu were, let us say 'rather tired'. Now however they are modern and air conditioned. They certainly put ours in the UK to shame. They do have one problem though, they are not as reliable as they should be. Busses are very cheap compared to the UK.

It is always advisable to check that the time table is still current.
Taxis
The price for a taxi on Corfu is VERY similar to the UK.
Cars & Scooters
For anyone who envisages touring around a little a small car or even a scooter is much cheaper. Don't forget the crash helmets, times have changed. The Greek police are just like our traffic wardens so be carefull where you park. Off road is best. It is unfortunate but the Greek authorities have just found out that hounding the motorists makes money.
Now Greece is even more like a home from home for the UK tourist.
Just be careful - no problem.
